There were quite a few seeds planted today, while running errands. While at the post office, in a long line, I was speaking to the gentleman in front of me. He was reading my shirt while talking, so I asked him what his answer was. He said that it cannot be "e," as he had the mindset that his baptism could somehow earn him favor/forgiveness of sins. I then let him read the backside. Immediately after this I was called to the window, and the postal worker then proceeded to read the front of my shirt out-loud, while most of the line watched and listened...he then read the back out-loud. Amazing! How exciting, all I have to do to get 10 to 15 people minimum per day thinking about eternity is to wear this thought-provoking T-shirt! It plants seed all by itself! God said that His Word would not return void! What a great tool. After this we went to a retail store for a brief moment. The lady at the counter then proceeded to read the front side out-loud. I then asked her what her answer was. She replied "well it cannot be "e"." I then proceeded to let her read the back out-loud. Her voice clamored as she started to read the verse, as she was counting on works to get to Heaven. As we walked away, my eight year old daughter was perplexed, and saddened, that a mature adult would be that ignorant to not know what God's Word clearly states. I explained that there are millions of people, just like her who are trusting in good works, religion, etc. to get to Heaven, and that it is our duty, obligation and responsibility to somehow get the truth to them. What a sobering thought that my eight year old daughter, and six year old son, have more Bible knowledge than a large majority adults we encounter daily. This is not to boast, but I say this out of shame. What's sad about this is that we who have the truth are not sharing the truth! It's time for us to wake up out of our complacency! We have a job to do! I forgot to mention that I also had my cable guy today read my shirt, he said that he was trusting in his works to pay for his sins.... I then let him read the back. You could tell he was a little offended, but that's okay. The truth can sometimes hurt! But it was applied in the right Spirit, and with love! Please pray for Tony, Robert and Tina, and all the others who got to read or hear. Pray for their salvation, or reconciliation.
